Alexandra-Maria-Lara

Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is an Romanian actress and television presenter. She is best known for her role as the lead in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Since she was the sole child of Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu. Alexandra began her career in showbiz as a child. Her roles included lead characters in television dramas as early as the age of 16. The role she played as Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudl Jue, from Downfall (an Oscar-nominated historic war film), was critically and critically acclaimed commercially. Additional Oscar nominated movies featuring the famous diva are The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex. Alexandra has been involved in numerous significant international and national productions through the years. A few of them include the British biographical documentary Control, Greek drama film The Dust of Time, and the French historical miniseries Napoleon. Also, she was in the jury panel of the Transylvania International Film Festival, as well as at the Cannes Film Festival.
